Battlefield 6 Season 5 Phase 2: Casino Heist Arrives Nov 10

Battlefield 6 Season 5 Phase 2 lands on November 10, bringing the Casino Heist limited-time event, a new infantry-only map called European Casino, three new pieces of hardware and a broad weapon balance pass. Multiplayer leaderboards and proximity chat in Rapid Royale round out the update for players across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC.

What Season 5 Phase 2 Includes

The update adds a nighttime map set inside a large European-style resort on the Las Vegas Strip, a time-limited event with exclusive cosmetics, new tactical tools, and a set of systems and quality-of-life changes. Detailed patch notes will follow in the Update Notes before the patch goes live, so full specifics are still to come. For more on the season so far, see our look at the Season 5 community update and roadmap.

European Casino: An Infantry-Only Battleground

European Casino drops squads into fast-moving fights that shift from open courtyards into crowded gaming floors and narrow hallways. Destruction plays a central role: breakable walls open up flanking routes, and a lazy river offers a more relaxed corner of the map. The massive center tower can collapse and permanently reshape how the map flows. Fans of the close, back-and-forth infantry combat of Operation Metro should feel at home. Note that European Casino and certain event content are not available in REDSEC.

Casino Heist Event: Contracts, DOUGH and Rewards

The Casino Heist event goes live across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC alongside the update. Defeated enemies drop Contracts that assign extra objectives during matches, such as capturing points, reviving teammates and exploring the European Casino map. Completing Contracts earns DOUGH, the event currency, which can be spent on cosmetics including weapon packages, vehicle skins and new Heist Mask soldier skins. Claiming every standard item on the reward track unlocks one final challenge with a bonus completion reward. A dedicated Event Guide is on its way.

New Hardware: NSW4 Carbine, Signal Jammer and M142 MRAS

  • NSW4 Carbine: A close-quarters weapon with rapid handling, subsonic rounds by default and a unique Supersonic ammo option.
  • ADS-17 6GHz Signal Jammer: A deployable gadget that jams enemy radars and sharply reduces the range at which opposing players can share active spotting information.
  • M142 MRAS: A highly mobile truck that delivers powerful indirect fire on a fast, flexible platform.

Weapon Changes, Leaderboards and REDSEC Updates

Weapon balance ranked among the top areas players wanted changed in recent community surveys, and this update targets distinct weapon roles and high pick-rate setups. Extended magazines on the SCW-10 and KV9 will carry handling penalties, more magazine capacities and feeding options are coming to several weapon types including some LMGs and Shotguns, and underused attachments such as the Flared Magwell and Frangible Ammo are getting buffs. Custom optics for the M44 are also being tested.

Phase 2 introduces Multiplayer Leaderboards with tabs for Career, Game Modes and Classes. They are seasonal, with a Seasonal Filter for comparing standings from Season 5 onward, and a Sticky Player Row that always shows your overall standing. In REDSEC, proximity chat is coming to Rapid Royale, the faster, close-quarters Battle Royale mode introduced in Season 5 (see the REDSEC Season 5 gameplay trailer), and the HUD and objective text are being refined with clearer timers, better indicators and more obvious notifications for Battle Royale contracts and missions.

Portal Updates: Custom AI, Necromorphs and Screen Effects

Portal builders can now choose which of the six class-specific skins a Custom Portal Bot uses through the SpawnAIFromAISpawner action, and the Marked Soldier from the Halloween experience joins as a seventh option. New NecromorphEffects can transform soldiers into Necromorphs, while ShadowSilhouette turns a soldier completely black. Audio effects such as whispers, monster noises and fake footsteps can be heard by individual players only. Ten new Screen Effects, including Film Grain, Fog and Motion Blur, can be toggled per player, and the new SetScreenEffectParameter action exposes 121 parameters, some of which may affect performance.

Whether you are clearing rooms in European Casino or chasing DOUGH in the Heist event, Season 5 Phase 2 is set to shake up the battlefield when it arrives on November 10.
