The non-stop update lands on November 10 across PC, mobile and console, bringing a new Assault Operator, the Zenith Port Warfare map, a new AZ3 mode, the AN-94 Assault Rifle and a wide batch of ammo, attachment and balance changes. Here is what players need to know, starting with when the servers go down. If you reserved the season, see our season reservation rewards guide.

Season Aurora release date and update schedule

Operations and Warfare ranked matches go off-season and close temporarily at 00:30 UTC+0 on November 10. At 01:59 UTC+0 the Operations entrance and matchmaking close, and the Market and Auction House are disabled. The update goes live at 02:00 UTC+0 on each platform.

  • PC: If you run into issues after the update, restart the game to complete it.
  • Mobile: iOS users need iOS 13 or higher.
  • Console: Updates are available for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

Meet Martelo, the new Assault Operator

Veronica Cardozo, code name Martelo, joins the roster. Her kit centers on aggressive pushes:

  • Ariete: A continuous forward charge that reduces frontal damage. It ends on hitting an enemy or wall with a Heavy Strike, or Martelo can end it early with a leaping slam.
  • Smoke Halo: Fires smoke grenades from a shoulder launcher. Hold to enter single-shot mode for a full smokescreen over a chosen area.
  • High-Explosive Grenade: A quickly thrown grenade that explodes a few seconds after being thrown.
  • Guerreira: A passive that briefly boosts movement and reload speed after knocking down an enemy or dropping below a set HP threshold.

New maps and modes: Brakkesh, Zenith Port and AZ3 Supercritical

Operations map Brakkesh receives a major update, with Haavk Corp and the Ahsarah Guard going head-to-head. The new Warfare map, Zenith Port, sees G.T.I. forces storm the beach. Its Riptide event triggers when guided missiles draw fire from air defenses, sending huge waves across the battlefield and shifting play toward rooftop tactics. Amphibious vehicles and watercraft rise and fall with those waves on this map.

The new AZ3 mode, Supercritical, adds a Hard Operation unlocking at Operations Level 30. Entry costs 600,000 Tekniq Alloys, the mode is expected to run from December 18, 2026 to January 25, 2027, and Polaris Patrol is supported. For background, read about the Polaris Patrol mini-mode.

AN-94, new ammo and limited-time Haavk attachments

The AN-94 Assault Rifle joins the arsenal, chambered in 5.45x39mm. Season Aurora also adds several ammo types, including .300BLK TIV and TTV rounds that explode after multiple hits, 5.56x45mm CINDER incendiary rounds, 9x19mm 7N30 AP rounds with Level 5 penetration and more recoil, and 5.45mm SPALL rounds that increase enemy helmet and vest repair time.

Three limited-time Haavk attachments arrive: the SR-25 HVK Binary Trigger Stock Kit, the PKM Bullpup Kit and the M250 Monolith Magazine.

Balance changes, Warfare vehicle tweaks and Detonation improvements

Warfare vehicles get several adjustments. TV-Guided Missiles can now be intercepted mid-flight, Wheeled Tank Destroyers keep relatively high speed after their engine is destroyed, and the LAV-G1 IFV’s missile lock-on area is narrowed. The Amphibious LSV’s variant modification cost drops from 5,000 to 4,000 points. The Akh Canal map is also removed from Warfare.

Detonation receives an improved map layout, a helmet and vest durability display, separate purchasing of helmet or vest when the other is undamaged, and a scoreboard that ranks players by actual damage dealt. Players can also equip certain tactical gadgets during the preparation phase.

Operations and system quality-of-life updates

Loading Plans in the Gunsmith unlock at Operations Level 35 and let players set the ammo sequence for a weapon. A new Chroma collectible quality tier is added, and fish can now be traded at the Bazaar once fishing mode is unlocked. On the system side, PC players can attach images and videos to issue reports, 1v1 voice chat is added, and three new achievements arrive: Genius Ratty, One More Can and Pro Hunter.

Season missions also reset: all Season 11 progress is cleared, and Season 12 begins with a new mission line.
