Delta Force Polaris Patrol is the headline of the 10/15 update, letting players step into the shoes of Haavk Security Director Anais Desmoulins or one of her Adjutants inside Operations. Alongside the mode come a stack of limited-time events, store draws, and balance changes for Stinger, Shepherd and Rover. The update rolls out with no downtime, and gameplay and matchmaking are not affected. If you hit an issue afterward, restart the game; if your client is out of date, you’ll need to update before you can log in.
What Is Polaris Patrol Mode?
Polaris Patrol becomes visible after the 10/15 update and runs from 2026.10.16 00:00 to 2027.1.26 02:00 (UTC). Players pick either Desmoulins or an Adjutant, and once selected, your appearance and abilities switch to match. Results are tallied from your operation performance and converted into Performance Points, and rising Performance Rank unlocks Director’s supplies and limited appearances. Completing all Director’s and Adjutant’s to-do missions earns an exclusive Medal of Honor.
Friendly Haavk units stay neutral toward Squad Desmoulins (Hudson units excepted). Unlike Fiery Owl Hunt, G.T.I. Operators can also earn Performance Points by defeating Squad Desmoulins, and those who take her down may find limited red-quality collectibles in her mezzanine.
Desmoulins and Adjutant Abilities
Desmoulins fights with three Tactical Gear options: a Neural-Controlled Vehicle with a multi-function Weapon Station, a Threat Imaging System that marks nearby threats and shares target data with squadmates, and a Seeker Bomb Vehicle that hunts enemies and detonates after a short delay. Her Weakness Analysis applies a lasting debuff to hit targets, slowing armor repair and certain medical items, and increasing bleed rate once they enter the Dying state.
Adjutant Options
- Athos Leal: Remote Bomb and Smoke Grenade.
- Aramis Orgueil: Flare and Airburst Grenade.
Both Adjutants share the Haavk Elite trait, which drags allies to safety and briefly boosts the Adjutant’s movement speed when they are near Desmoulins or her vehicle and either of them deals direct damage to an enemy operator.
How to Unlock Desmoulins and Earn Rewards
Adjutants, including the Heavy Guard and Comms Guard, are unlocked by default and need no badge, but they require a Desmoulins in the squad. Playing as Desmoulins herself is gated behind the Desmoulins File, unlocked at Operations Level 33. It offers five mission branches, and you must choose and complete three. Each Desmoulins entry costs a Security Director’s Work Badge, purchasable at the Supply Station for 250,000 Tekniq Alloys. You can initially buy 4, one additional slot restores every 21 hours, up to a maximum of 8 stored.
Available maps are Space City and AZ3 on Normal, and Space City on Hard. Desmoulins can use the executive elevator and its exclusive extraction point in the Space City garden. Once G.T.I. kills her, they can pick up her Access Card in the mezzanine to use the same route.
Notable rewards include the Desmoulins Reward Crate, which can drop the red-quality Petite Madame or Requin Model; collecting both lets you assemble the Petite Madame – Requin Model for your EDC Tool Kit. Other rewards include the M700 Sniper Rifle – Serenity appearance, Desmoulins-themed Avatar, Spray Paint, Calling Card and Gesture, and the HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block, craftable once the mode reaches the Hunter stage and limited to 10 per week.
Four limited-time Custom Gear Tickets are also available: Desmoulins Spec Ops, Desmoulins Elite (600,000 Combat Readiness Value), Security Elite (600,000) and Security Standard, each adding a mix of firepower and balanced weapons such as the SR-25, AR57, PKM, QJB201, SCAR-H, M4A1 and MCX-LT.
Other Events and Store Updates
The 7-Day Login runs 10/16–10/25, and signing in for all seven days earns the Graffiti Art – PSG-1 along with TurBrick – Deltaversary Gifts and an Armament Voucher. Petite Madame Rampage and Haavk Attachments both run 10/16–11/9. The former rewards the Action – Perfect Sync and an Armament Voucher for completing Operations tasks, while the latter adds limited HVK Whirlwind Frame System and Enhanced Gas Block attachments, available through the Auction House or Large Weapon Crates in Operations, and the Armory in Warfare.
Weekly events from 10/16–10/22 include Operations and Warfare Weekly Supplies, Expert Choice (complete missions with the MDR or Thompson SMG), the Tekniq Alloy Store, and Score Calculation. The Weekend Merit Boost runs 10/17–10/18, doubling Merit for your first three Warfare Grade Matches.
The Sunken Appearance Lucky Draw runs 10/16–11/14. The first draw costs only 10 Delta Coins or Delta Tickets, the prize pool has no duplicates, and the grand prize guarantees a random Sunken series weapon appearance across the Vector Submachine Gun, QJB201 Light Machine Gun and SMG-45 Submachine Gun. Separately, Operator Research: Lethal Substance – Stinger runs 10/16–11/14 but is Vietnam only. Milestone draws unlock its appearances, and all event rewards are guaranteed within 70 draws.
Operator Balance Changes for Stinger, Shepherd and Rover
Stinger (Detonation)
- Hive-Tech Pistol self-healing reduced from 3 HP/s to 2 HP/s, with duration extended from 15s to 20s.
- Hive-Tech Smoke Grenade X Hive-Tech Pistol healing reduced from 5 HP/s to 3 HP/s, and duration cut from 60s to 20s. The healing buff is now removed entirely after taking damage, rather than being paused for 5 seconds.
Shepherd (Detonation and All Modes)
- Sonic Trap hit damage reduced from 25 to 20, and purchase price increased from 250 to 300.
- In all modes, the Sonic Trap’s hitbox is temporarily reduced. A future update will refine the bullet-blocking experience and revert the size accordingly.
Rover (All Modes and Operations)
- After taking three instances of damage from Clover, a player gains immunity to further damage and mark effects for 20 seconds.
- An Operations-specific change addresses multiple Clovers summoned by the same team at once. Attribute values for multiple Clovers were not included in the patch notes we received; we’ll update when full details are available.
