AION 2’s latest patch brings a three-week AION 2 Halloween event packed with free attendance rewards, a Pumpkin Coin shop and craftable Candy Keys that unlock themed loot bundles. The update also includes fixes for Sorcerer and Spiritmaster skills, plus new paid Halloween cosmetics. This guide covers the dates, rewards and weekly limits so you can plan your event grind.
AION 2 Halloween Event Dates and Trick or Treat Attendance
The festivities run from after scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 (PDT) until before maintenance on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (PST). European players note the event opens after maintenance on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 (CEST) and closes before maintenance on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 (CET).
The Trick or Treat attendance calendar offers 14 days of login rewards. You earn 35 Halloween Pumpkin Coins each day, except Day 7 and Day 14, which grant 100 coins instead. Open the in-game Attendance menu to view and claim your rewards.
Earning and Spending Halloween Pumpkin Coins
Beyond the attendance calendar, the patch adds event missions under [Season Mission] > [Event] that award Pumpkin Coins. Hunt 10 monsters in the Abyss for 25 coins (listed as once per week per server), or clear Transcendence Dungeon, Expedition Conquest, Ascension Trial or Nightmare (any stage) for 25 coins each. Logging in three times grants 30 coins, while obtaining a piece of Unique Gear, using five Scrolls, joining Dimensional Invasion or participating in Shugo Festival each reward 20 coins. The reset schedule for the non-Abyss missions is not specified in the source.
Coin Merchant NPCs appear in faction-specific towns. Elyos players visit Dawn Legion Base or Zumion Village in Verteron, while Asmodians head to Safe Haven or Nornir Assembly in Altgard. The event shop accepts Halloween Pumpkin Coins for these items:
- Special Halloween Chest (250 coins, 1 per server, Lv.10): includes Spooky Scary Skeleton Breastplate skin (Bound) and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystal.
- Odyle Energy (Bound) (10 coins, 4 per server per week, Lv.45)
- Lower Abyss Rift Stone (Bound) (30 coins, 2 per server per week, Lv.45)

- Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Ticket (Bound) (7 coins, 3 per server per week, Lv.10)
- Shugo Festival Reward Key (Bound) (7 coins, 3 per server per week, Lv.10)
- Life Crystal (Bound) (2 coins, 20 per character, Lv.10)
- Halloween Candy (Bound) (2 coins, 10 per character, Lv.10)

- Superior Power Shard (Bound) (1 coin, no limit listed, Lv.10)
The consumables deserve attention. Halloween Candy grants Attack +25, Defense +250 and Max Stamina +300, plus a 40% Natural Stamina Regen boost for 5 minutes. Halloween Cookie provides Max HP +500, Max MP +250 and Max Stamina +300 with the same stamina regeneration increase for 5 minutes.
Candy Keys and Candy Contents
The Candy Key system uses Event Substance Morphs to craft keys. Candy Key Fragments drop as rewards for clearing Expedition and Transcendence Dungeons. Each Red, Yellow and Blue Candy Key costs 60 fragments at 100% success, limited to once per week per server. You can also exchange 1 fragment for 10 Superior Power Shards (Bound), with no limit listed.
Each candy grants all of its contents when opened:
- Red Candy: 20 Growth Pet Chests (Bound), 10 Battle Enhance Scrolls (Bound), 5 Halloween Candies (Bound) and 5 Halloween Cookies (Bound).
- Yellow Candy: 10,000 Abyss Points, 10 Life Crystals (Bound), 5 Halloween Candies (Bound) and 5 Halloween Cookies (Bound).
- Blue Candy: 4 Odyle Energy (Bound), 10 Resurrection Spiritstones (Bound), 5 Halloween Candies (Bound) and 5 Halloween Cookies (Bound).
Conquerors of the Abyss and Shop Changes
The Conquerors of the Abyss event runs from October 13 until before maintenance on October 27, 2026 (PDT), or October 14 to before October 28 (CEST/CET). During this period, Abyss Rift Stone (Event) costs 50,000 Kina in Shop > Wind Breeze Merchants > Special, limited to 7 per character per week for characters level 45 and higher.
During the server transfer period, several Shop items are reorganized (see our server transfer products info for background). Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon (Bound) and Soul Crystal (Bound) move from Wind Breeze Merchants > Special to Substance Morph > Special > Wind Breeze Merchants. For Odyle Energy (Bound) during the server transfer period, the weekly limit of 16 per server is removed, and the per-character weekly limit increases from 4 to 20. Separately, the Lower Abyss Rift Stone (7-day) will be available in Shop > Wind Breeze Merchants > Special for two weeks.
Sorcerer and Spiritmaster Skill Fixes
Two classes receive adjustments in this patch.
For Spiritmasters, an issue where Summon: Ancient Spirit at Level 15 or below does not activate skills properly will be fixed.
For Sorcerers, three skills will be corrected:
- Fire Wall: Bonus damage not applied with an elevation difference will be fixed. Your Embers effect will also no longer be removed by another player’s stronger Embers.
- Cold Storm: The same elevation bonus damage issue will be fixed, and your Frostbite will no longer be removed by another player’s stronger Frostbite.
- Bittercold Wind: The Frost Cooldown Reduction effect not working properly in combat with elevation differences will be fixed.
New Halloween Cosmetics and Pricing
New cosmetics are available through Shop > Atelier from after maintenance on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 until before maintenance on Tuesday, November 24, 2026 (PST), or Wednesday, November 25 (CET). Prices are based on the Purple Store and may vary by store.
Three armor skin sets cost $29.99 each and earn 4,350 Mileage: Monarch of Blood (Breastplate, Greaves, Helm, Gloves, Boots and Cloak), Midnight Witch and Midnight Slasher (both Breastplate, Greaves, Helm, Gloves and Boots). In the source, armor and weapon skins are listed as X / X / X / O for Trade / Delete / Storage / Customize, meaning they cannot be traded, deleted or stored, but can be customized.
Eight class-restricted Halloween Night weapon skins cost $11.99 each (1,750 Mileage each): Greatsword for Gladiators, Longsword for Templars, Dagger for Assassins, Bow for Rangers, Spellbook for Sorcerers, Orb for Spiritmasters, Mace for Clerics and Staff for Chanters.
Two Halloween pets, Pumpkin Carriage and Little Ghost, cost $19.99 each (2,900 Mileage each), limited to one purchase per server. Pets are likewise listed as X / X / X for Trade / Delete / Storage in the source.
