AION 2 is hosting the Trick or Treat event this Halloween season, giving players a three-week window to earn exclusive rewards through daily logins and mission completions. By collecting Halloween Pumpkin Coins, you can purchase skins, buffs, upgrade materials, and other rewards from the event shop. However, several items expire on different dates, so careful planning will help you maximize your haul before they vanish. Here’s everything you need to know about AION 2’s Halloween celebration.
AION 2 Trick or Treat Event Dates and Attendance Rewards
The Trick or Treat event runs from after scheduled maintenance on October 13, 2026 (Tue, PDT) until before maintenance on November 3, 2026 (Tue, PST). Players in Europe should note the event timing shifts to after maintenance on October 14, 2026 (Wed, CEST) through before maintenance on November 4, 2026 (Wed, CET).
Check your attendance rewards via the In-game menu under Attendance. The tracker resets daily at 12:00 AM PDT / 9:00 AM CEST. The 14-day attendance track rewards 35 Halloween Pumpkin Coins most days, with two bonus days, Day 7 and Day 14, granting 100 coins each. Claiming all rewards totals 620 coins. Keep in mind that attendance rewards can only be claimed once per server.
Event Missions: How to Earn Halloween Pumpkin Coins
Attendance isn’t your only source of coins. Complete missions under [Season Mission] > [Event] to earn more:
- Abyss: Hunt 10 monsters in Abyss: 25 coins (once per week per server)
- Transcendence: Clear Transcendence Dungeon 1 time: 25 coins
- Expedition: Clear Expedition Conquest 1 time: 25 coins
- Ascension Trial: Clear Ascension Trial 1 time: 25 coins
- Nightmare: Clear any stage 1 time: 25 coins
- Log In: Log in 3 times: 30 coins
- Obtain Gear: Obtain 1 piece of Unique Gear: 20 coins
- Use a Scroll: Use 5 Scrolls: 20 coins

A Coin Merchant NPC now operates in each town. Elyos players can visit merchants in Verteron at Dawn Legion Base or Zumion Village. Asmodian players should head to Altgard’s Safe Haven or Nornir Assembly. Shop inventory includes strict purchase limits, so prioritize items that suit your playstyle:

Candy Keys and Candy Rewards Explained
Event candies are placed throughout the towns and are opened using Candy Keys. Earn Candy Key Fragments by completing Expedition and Transcendence Dungeons. Convert fragments into Candy Keys through Event Substance Morphs: combine 60 fragments into one Red, Yellow, or Blue Candy Key at 100% success, with each color limited to once per week per server. Alternatively, you can morph 1 Candy Key Fragment into 10 Superior Power Shards at 100% success with no limit listed.
Opening a candy grants all listed items:
- Red Candy: 20 Growth Pet Chest (Bound), 10 Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound), 5 Halloween Candy, 5 Halloween Cookie
- Yellow Candy: 10,000 Abyss Points, 10 Life Crystal (Bound), 5 Halloween Candy, 5 Halloween Cookie
- Blue Candy: 4 Odyle Energy (Bound), 10 Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound), 5 Halloween Candy, 5 Halloween Cookie
Item Removal Dates and Event Notes
Event items expire on two different schedules. Mark your calendar to avoid losing rewards:
Removed November 3, 2026, 11:00 PM PST / November 4, 2026, 8:00 AM CET: Halloween Candy (Bound), Halloween Cookie (Bound), Candy Key Fragment (Event), and Red/Yellow/Blue Candy Keys (Event).
Removed December 15, 2026, 11:00 PM PST / December 16, 2026, 8:00 AM CET: Special Halloween Chest, Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound), Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon (Bound), Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Ticket (Bound), Shugo Festival Reward Key (Bound), and Odyle Energy (Bound).
The official notice states that the mission rewards will be removed from your inventory after the event period ends, so it is safest to spend your Halloween Pumpkin Coins before November 3/4. Shop items with the later removal date stay in your inventory until December 15/16. All event items are non-tradable and rewards are delivered immediately to your inventory.
