Battlefield 6 REDSEC Season 5 at a Glance
Season 5 introduces the Vegas Strip and Area 51 maps, launches Rapid Royale as a new REDSEC mode, and adds the Mk 24 assault rifle, RSPR personal defense weapon, Z84M light machine gun and ELR-40 sniper rifle. Vegas Strip: Open Sightlines and Hotel Warfare
The Las Vegas Strip map is built around open sightlines and large-scale vehicle battles. The iconic Strip, fountains and lavish casinos form the backdrop.
Zipline from a rooftop into a hotel tower, or enter the underbelly for a close-quarters fight in the storm drains.
Area 51: Vehicles, Tunnels and Levolution
The breached Area 51 military base offers massive-scale combat where vehicles reign supreme on the surface. Jets, helicopters and tanks are ready to attack and defend, while players can flip a dirt bike off a rolling hill or pilot a jet through the desert landscape.
Bring down the Air Traffic Control tower to create gameplay-changing levolution. For close-quarters action, descend through a fresh crater into the base’s secret underground tunnels, and discover its hidden secrets and military technologies.
Rapid Royale: The New REDSEC Mode
Rapid Royale is a new REDSEC mode that includes Las Vegas; players drop into multiple maps with a lower player count. Aggression is everything: get kills and earn redeploys.

New REDSEC Season 5 Weapons
- Mk 24: An assault rifle that is deadlier at longer ranges, with limited magazine capacity.
- RSPR: A highly compact short-range personal defense weapon with major stopping power from its rifle cartridge. It performs better at longer ranges than most PDWs, but with higher recoil.
- Z84M: A belt-fed light machine gun and close-range powerhouse. It has a 100-round capacity and supports a variety of attachments.
- ELR-40: A versatile bolt-action sniper rifle that is especially deadly at long range. Its single shot mode moves the sweet spot to shorter distances.
