AION 2 players tackling tough dungeons can now buy Resurrection Spiritstones during the limited-time Rise to the Challenge event. The stones are sold for Kina in the in-game shop, and the event is designed to support your dungeon runs. Here is how the purchase tiers work, what the weekly limits are, and when Resurrection Spiritstones (Bound) are removed.
What Is the AION 2 Rise to the Challenge Event?
Rise to the Challenge is an AION 2 event that lets players buy Resurrection Spiritstones for a set period. During the event, Resurrection Spiritstone (Season 1) is available for purchase with Kina under Shop > Wind Breeze Merchants. The event launched alongside the AION 2 October 20-21 patch notes.
Event Schedule by Region
The event window is tied to scheduled server maintenance and is listed in two time zones:
- PDT/PST: After scheduled maintenance on October 20, 2026 (Tuesday) until before scheduled maintenance on December 15, 2026.
- CEST/CET: After scheduled maintenance on October 21, 2026 (Wednesday) until before scheduled maintenance on December 16, 2026 (Wednesday).

AION 2 Resurrection Spiritstone Prices and Purchase Limits
The event uses a two-step structure. The source lists each step as including “Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) x30”:
- STEP 1: Resurrection Spiritstone (Season 1) for 25,000 Kina, including Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) x30. Purchase limit: per server per week.
- STEP 2: Resurrection Spiritstone (Season 1) for 50,000 Kina, including Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) x30. Purchase limit: per server per week.
Items from the next tier can only be bought after you reach the purchase limit for the previous tier. Rewards are delivered straight to your inventory.
How Spiritstones Are Consumed on Resurrection
When you resurrect a character, the time-limited Resurrection Spiritstone (Season 1) is used first. Existing permanent Resurrection Spiritstones (Bound) in your inventory are only consumed once all the time-limited stones have been used up.
Important Notes and Removal Date
Keep the following in mind before stocking up:
- Resurrection Spiritstones (Bound) are removed at 12/16/2026, 00:00 PST (09:00 CET on the same date), which is midnight on December 16 PST.
- All items provided through this event are non-tradable.
- Event schedules and some rewards may change due to internal circumstances.
