NC is taking the game servers offline for AION 2 maintenance on October 8-9 for server stabilization work. The temporary downtime will last 1 hour and 30 minutes, during which all services will be unavailable. Players are asked to log out in a safe location as soon as possible.
AION 2 Maintenance Schedule and Downtime
The temporary maintenance starts at:
- October 8, 2026 at 23:30 PDT
- October 9, 2026 at 8:30 CEST
Players in other time zones should convert these times to find the start in their region. The downtime is expected to last 1 hour 30 minutes from the start time, and all services are affected.
What to Do Before the Servers Go Offline
NC asks all players to log out in a safe location as soon as possible, before the servers go down.
Server Stabilization and Wing Flight Power Changes
The main update in this maintenance is server stabilization. The Flight Power of the four wings obtainable through quests is also being increased. All four wings are available to both Elyos and Asmodian players:
- Daeva’s Lesser Wings (Elyos/Asmodian): 2,000 → 2,500
- Daeva’s Intermediate Wings (Elyos/Asmodian): 500 → 1,000
- Daeva’s Superior Wings (Elyos/Asmodian): 500 → 1,000
- Daeva’s Ultimate Wings (Elyos/Asmodian): 500 → 1,000
Each of the four wings gains 500 Flight Power, 2,000 in total.
What Players Should Expect Next
NC thanks players for their patience and apologizes for any inconvenience. The notice was posted on Steam on October 8, 2026. For earlier downtime details, see our report on the previous AION 2 maintenance on October 6-7.
