This week’s AION 2 patch notes outline improvements for Founder’s Pack owners, alongside economy adjustments and bug fixes. According to the notice dated October 6 (PDT) / October 7 (CEST), Founder’s Pack items will work across characters and servers, and a dedicated free shop will become available for eligible players.
Founder’s Pack Items Will Work Across Characters and Servers
The patch notes indicate that Founder’s Pack purchasers will be able to use Skins, Titles, and other items on different characters and servers. A dedicated Shop exclusive to Founder’s Pack holders will allow them to obtain items they do not yet own for free, with availability determined by their Founder’s Pack tier. This shop will remain open for all characters across all servers until an official closure notice is released.
Items already in a player’s possession from the Founder’s Pack will not be repurchased. Should duplicate items remain in inventory, a discard feature is planned for a future update. Duplicate Skins acquired through the dedicated shop will not count toward the purchase limit for paid Skins, and a fix to prevent duplicate entries is scheduled for a later patch.
Players experiencing purchase failures when buying from the Founder’s Pack should close the client and retry.
Economy and Drop Rate Changes
A weekly limit of 20 Morphs per server will be added to the Substance Morph formula used for converting Sealed Wings into Enhance Stones.
Raw Leather drop rates will increase for monsters found in Chaotic Lower Reshanta, Verteron, and Altgard. Specific percentage increases were not disclosed in the patch notes.
The Wind Breeze Merchants will stock a new Kina item: the Resurrection Spiritstone (Season 1). Each unit costs 25,000 Kina and is limited to 10 purchases per server per week. Access it via In-Game Menu > Shop > Wind Breeze Merchants > Special. The item will be available from after the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, October 6, 2026 (PDT) through before the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, December 15, 2026 (PST).
Bug Fixes
- The incorrect display of the maximum number of Map Pins will be fixed; players will be able to place up to 30 Map Pins.
- The issue where the “Daeva of Glorious Deeds” Weekly Mission in [Asmodian] Challenge Season Missions cannot be completed properly will be fixed.
- The “Movement Controls” option appearing multiple times under Settings > Key Settings > General will be fixed.
- An issue where certain Emote commands do not function properly in chat will be fixed.
What’s Planned Next
The development team plans to add a feature for discarding duplicate Founder’s Pack items and to implement a fix preventing duplicate entries in the dedicated shop during a future update.
