Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 Patch Notes: Noor Buffs, Tachanka Mode

The Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 patch notes are here with the mid-season balancing update, described as a release follow-up. Noor gets significant buffs to her Horus Lance Launcher, Tachanka gains a new firing mode for his Shumikha Launcher, and Solid Snake and Valkyrie also see changes. The patch also includes a long list of bug fixes, so here is what to know before your next match.

According to the source, the operators and objects affected by this patch are Capitão, Dokkaebi, Goyo, Noor, Tachanka and Gas Pipes.

Noor’s Horus Lance Launcher Changes

Noor has the largest set of changes in this update, all focused on the Horus Lance Launcher. Drilling time on Ballistic Shields, soft surfaces and solid surfaces (non-destructible surfaces) is reduced to 1.5 seconds from 2 seconds.

Guard break strength on projectile impact against Ballistic Shields increases to 100% from 30%. Equipping now uses quickdraw animations, with equip animation timing reduced to 0.4 seconds from 0.9 seconds.

Impact damage against an operator rises to 80 from 50, and the hitbox is updated for better accuracy and consistency. The Horus Lance can now also damage Ballistic Shield Operators while they are in the removal animation.

Major Changes: Tachanka, Solid Snake and Valkyrie

Three other operators receive major changes:

  • Tachanka: The Shumikha Launcher gets a firing mode that triggers Incendiary Grenades on impact.
  • Solid Snake: Soliton Radar MK III precision mode charges are reduced to 3 from 4.
  • Valkyrie: The Glaive-12 is added to her secondary weapon options.

Refinement Changes for Capitão, Clash and Osa

The source describes refinement changes as small adjustments that polish gameplay details and improve quality of life without shifting the meta. This patch includes:

  • Capitão: Fire Bolt delay between expansions is reduced to 0.9 seconds from 1.
  • Clash: CCE Shield MK2 slowdown strength when enemies retreat is increased to 10% from 5%.
  • Osa: Talon-8 Clear Shield has reduced deployment restrictions.
  • Fire damage: Increased to 14 hp from 12. The source lists this after Osa’s changes without saying what it applies to.

Barbed Wire and Bug Fixes

The source also lists a Barbed Wire entry: the BU-GIs become entangled in Barbed Wire, stopping completely and self-destructing.

On the gameplay side, defenders no longer lose points for destroying their own Barbed Wire.

Operator fixes:

  • The hitbox for Noor’s Horus Lance projectiles was too large.
  • Noor’s Horus Lance Launcher reticle was not affected by the Reticle Opacity option.
  • Osa’s Talon-8 Shield right button went from ON to OFF when deployed.

User experience fixes:

  • Players could not navigate left or right if they selected the area above the OPEN NOW button in the Locker.
  • Newcomers did not receive a Recruit Rewards pop-up unless they rebooted.
  • The voice chat indicator sometimes stopped appearing.

Audio fix: The drilling sound no longer plays when Noor’s Horus Lance projectiles are destroyed by electrified Barbed Wire.

Players who run into a bug can report it through Bug Reporter.
