The Overwatch Excavation Initiative is returning, and Blizzard has put Loot Boxes at the center of it. Running from November 3 to December 7, the limited-time event lets players earn a Loot Box by completing three digs each week, with the chance to keep digging for bonus Loot Boxes, Epic Loot Boxes, and a Legendary Loot Box along the way.
How to Earn Your Weekly Loot Box
Each week, players who complete three digs earn a Loot Box. It is a straightforward weekly goal that gives the event a steady rhythm for the length of its run.
Bonus, Epic and Legendary Loot Box Rewards
Beyond the weekly Loot Box, players can continue digging for bonus Loot Boxes and Epic Loot Boxes. A Legendary Loot Box can also be earned along the way.
